Any content that violates the Rules or User Guidelines will be removed. Please avoid using unsavory language, profanity and/or foul imagery. It is unnecessary to use profanity. Doing so may get your post pulled and even result in your removal from the site/page. Photos and images containing nudity or the suggestion thereof, foul language, or any other material that violates the Nzema Youth Association’s Rules will be removed.
Likewise, any partisan political and religious sentiments which could bring divisions should be kept out of this page. Interpretation of these guidelines is at the discretion of the page moderation team.
Chat in this forum is strictly moderated. If it is your first time here, we recommend you to read our rules first to avoid any unpleasant situation before you join our conversations. Disregarding any of the rules listed below may result in your comments being deleted, temporarily banned (ban from postings) or permanently banned ( ban from our social media groups/pages). This site/group page is used by people of all ages, and we seek to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere. Please keep this in mind when posting or participating in any Chat.
Rules and Etiquette :
# Do not post any reference which contains sexually explicit images, link or other offensive content.
# Strong political and religious sentiments should be kept out of all discussions. Posts focusing on politics or religion will probably be removed and the culprit will be punished. There are plenty of places on the Web to talk about politics or religion. N.Y.A group page isn’t one of them.
# N.Y.A group is an English cum Nzema speaking community. As such, all content must be posted in the English/Nzema language so that it is accessible to this audience and can be reviewed properly. At the same time, it is important to note that for many users of this site, English is a second language. Therefore, there is no reason to report, highlight, or denigrate grammatical errors, typos, etc. It is also against this site’s policy to denigrate a user because of his or her location, gender, or creed.
# Do not harass, threaten, embarrass, or do anything else to a chat participant, that is unwanted.
# Do not offer for sale products or services in the youth group, to avoid frauds in the name of NYA..
# Do not insult any member of the N.Y.A group, its staff, or community leaders, such as owners, administrators, moderators or impersonate them.
# Avoid posting or requesting personal information for example, home address, e-mail address, telephone number, etc of any user in public.
# Avoid using excessive capital letters (Caps) in your texts.
# The same for links and references to other websites. When you link to an external website, it is your responsibility to make sure that the content on the linked site is appropriate for our community and does not violate our guidelines.
This includes mentioning or referencing to a website, even if you do not provide a hyperlink. The final say on anything belongs to the N.Y.A Group moderation team. If you take issue with any decision, then contact the moderators directly. Posts that question the N.Y.A Group moderation team’s decisions such as deletion of comments, moderation of threads, or removal of individual users are not permitted and will be removed.
If you believe something was moderated in error (which does happen, we’re not perfect), then contact the N.Y.A Group moderation team directly and we will review the situation. Although the N.Y.A Group moderation team will seek to keep objectionable messages off this site/page, it is impossible for us to review all messages. Some material that you find offensive may “slip through,” if only temporarily.
Please note that all messages express only the views of the author. Neither the owners of the N.Y.A Group nor its administrators or moderators are responsible for the content of any message. Comply with these rules to enjoy a sane online society.
